Tumatxa is free software. It is being released under the GPL license.

Requirements

Tumatxa is a product that runs on Zope, the leading free web application server, and is written in Python, the free programming language. It runs currently only on Linux OS. Besides the OS, you need:

• It is required that your Linux version has an "iconv" command that supports UCS-2 to UTF conversion (2.3.2 supports it). With previous versions like 2.1.3, Tumatxa shows problems importing Trados TMX files.
• Zope 2.6 or later. Available at Zope.org
• Python 2.1 or later. It comes with current Zope distributions.

Additional Zope products need to be installed also.

• BTreeFolder2 - (current version of Tumatxa developed with 0.5.0 version of this product)
• TextIndexNG2 - (developed with 2.0.1 version)
• Localizer, which lets the application, as well as this website, to be truly multilingual (developed with 1.0.1 version)
